Bad Breathe in the Morning

Bad Breathe in the Morning

There are a large number of bacteria in the mouth.

There may be 80 to 100 different types of germs in people's mouths.

Saliva eliminates food particles from your mouth. Low production of saliva is a reason for the bacteria to multiply and produce sulfur compounds (VSCs) that cause the breath to smell.

Your saliva's got two functions.

First, it removes bacteria and second, it contains antibodies and another chemical, lactoferrin, which prevents the growth of bacteria.

So at night, there's less moisture in the mouth and it's drying, so the germs are more common at night.
Sleep patterns may also influence the breath of the morning.

Snoring or coughing in the mouth at night increases the likelihood of poor breathing.

Most of the mouth breathers sleep with the mouth open, allowing the mouth to swell and the bacteria to rise.

Other causes of bad breath are broken teeth, sore gums and toothbrushes.

Tips to minimize bad breath in the morning.

Do this before you go to bed:

1. Brush
2. Oh, Flossing
3. Clean the tongue with a cleaner of tongue or a toothbrush.

It helps to wash the mouth and eliminates the food particles so that the bacteria do not grow.
